Natalie was incredible! I said yes to the dress but even if I didn’t, I would have left having felt that I had the best experience. I felt heard and she knew exactly what I was looking for. Wasn’t rushed at all and Shanice was the best cheer gal also! Put the picture we took with them in it because they deserve the credit
Just got my wedding dress from the Glasgow store. Staff were really friendly and made me feel comfortable. I didn't have a set idea of what I wanted and wanted to try a few different styles, was able to have a discussion and they picked some styles which all matched the features I'd said I wanted in a dress. There wasn't any pressure to buy there and then, I ended up trying on a few then going back the next day to make a final decision.
I would say if you see dresses you like on the website to check availability by contacting them ahead of visiting the store. They didn't have many of the dresses I'd liked online available in my size, and they can't say when they'll have them in future or order them in for you. Luckily it didn't matter for me as I found a dress I loved in store anyway, but if you went in with specific dresses in mind you might be disappointed. Also we went first thing in the morning which meant we had no wait so would recommend going then, I can imagine on weekend afternoons you could have a bit of a wait.
I was so excited about going to Wed2Be as I had seen quite a few dresses on their website which I loved the look of. First thing was they say you don’t need an appointment but that’s not strictly true. We arrived around 1pm and were asked to come back an hour and a half later. Would be easier to just make an appointment.
When we went back, one of the assistants came to tell me she would be helping me try some dresses. I’m a mature bride in my 40s and they put me with a girl who was probably around 22 if that! I told her the names of the dresses I like on the website and she had no clue. She asked me to show her photos so I had to go in to the shop’s website on my phone and show her photos of the dresses. I found this a bit strange. The girl immediately told me they wouldn’t have those in stock. She said she would bring some other dresses for me to try that were as close to my choices as possible and brought two samples to the dressing room. They were actually completely opposite of what I had shown her and she seemed offended that I didn’t like them. Her response was to tell me that as I knew exactly the style that I liked I would be better to go on a search in other stores and find it elsewhere or wait until Feb/march to see if the dresses I liked with Wed2Be came back in stock. I’m getting married in May and said that would panic me to wait so late. She didn’t seem too interested. I will say the girls on the front desk were really lovely and friendly but I was really disappointed in the experience. The dressing area reminds me of a dark long corridor and is not a welcoming area, in my opinion. I did find my dream dress in a nearby store where they actually did provide the service I was expecting and more! Sorry Wed2Be but I felt really let down.
We have Shanice (think that’s how you spell her name sorry if it’s not) today for our appointment. It was my first ever bridal appointment and although I didn’t walk away with a dress I walked away with the perfect idea of what I wanted and also some great self confidence in myself after working with her. She was a bundle of fun and made me feel so great and overall made the appointment so much fun! Would recommend to anyone!
Every other staff member we encountered there was incredible helping my sister out as well with a previous purchase!
literally a surreal experience from beginning to end, I loved every second of my wedding dress finding experience. I'm so sorry I don't think I actually caught the name of the girl who was assisting me but she as literally my SOULMATE dress finder, understood the vibe immediately and we found the one on the second try! Could not be happier and can't wait to wear my dress!
A huge thank you to Shanice and all the staff at wed2b, I was so nervous going into my first dress appointment but was made to feel so comfortable and ease throughout my time here. Dresses I tried were stunning, Shanice was just fab at picking dresses to the style I liked and I'm so happy I walked away with the most stunning dress. Thank you all so much for such a positive experience!
I bought my wedding dress here last week and was extremely happy with the service I received. The store assistant Lauren helped me find the perfect dress and made the whole process so easy! A massive selection of dresses to choose from and really friendly staff.
I went into Wed2b Glasgow with a whole idea of what I would want. Vintage/boho and loose fitting and bought a gorgeous dress I never in visioned but had elements of whay I loved and wanted Sophie was fantastic and all the girls were Great as I went with a party of 4. Prices are great.
